Culver City is committed to making Fiesta La Ballona a safe and family friendly event.  With that in mind, the following guidelines have been put in place in order to make sure Fiesta La Ballon stays a safe and family friendly event this year.  

 

COVID-19 Information

What guidelines are being followed by Culver City?

Culver City is following all guidelines and public orders from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and City of Culver City Emergency Public Orders. Frequent handwashing, following the CDC guidelines, is also encouraged.


Do I need to wear a mask?

All persons attending Fiesta La Ballona are required to bring and wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, at the event, except while actively eating and drinking in designated areas. Attendees must also wear masks when they enter indoor areas, such as restrooms. 


Will there be extra handwashing stations?

Yes. Extra hand washing stations and hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout Fiesta La Ballon. 

Culver City Single Use Plastic Ban

Plastic straws, utensils, stirrer sticks, drink plugs, and other disposable plastic items are no longer allowed in Culver City.  The City of Culver City adopted Chapter 5.07, Waste Reduction Regulations to protect the community's waterways and to promote reuse and waste reduction.

The following single use items will not be available at Fiesta La Ballona:

  • Water Bottles
  • Utensils
  • Straws
  • Polystyrene food containers. (Polystyrene products may be unidentified or be identified by a No. 6 with three chasing arrows that form a triangle.)  

Lost Child Protocol

If you have lost your child, please notify a staff member immediately.  If you are having trouble finding a Culver City staff member, please report directly to the Teen Center and notify the staff there.
