Applications are now being accepted for this year’s Fiesta La Ballona. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 2, 2024. Please fill out the below application

Volunteer Hours/Information:

• All volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory virtual training the week of August 12, 2024.
• If selected to volunteer, City staff will notify you by email, please ensure your email address is kept current.
• Shifts are available between the hours of 8am-11pm on Friday, August 23, Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25.
• Service credit hours sheets will be signed by staff overseeing the volunteers.
• Service credit hours are given at the end of your shift when you check out.
• Final details such as shift schedules, parking and drop off info, and dress attire will be emailed one week before the event.

Volunteer Assignments Include:

• Set-up and Load-in and set-up-assistance with set up chairs, tables, canopies, hanging banners, and vendor load-in  
• Bike Valet-accepting bikes and distributing tickets for bikes, owner must present ticket to pick-up bike, if ticket is lost owner must describe bike in detail or show a picture of them with said bike, unclaimed bikes at the end of the night are taken to the Teen Center  
• Entertainment Stage/Green Room-monitor performers belongings in green room, assisting performers with getting required items or general needs.
• Runner/Ambassador-general assistance around festival, answering patron questions, assisting vendors with their needs, picking up trash, etc.
